 Carissa Wiley taught the final class of the SCT Holly Jolly Card Event.  Her pink color palette is right up my alley although I changed the coral pink (she used C9 watermelon) to SU Melon Mambo from SU. Colors by Stampin' Up!:  Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Shaded Spruce

 These cards were part of the SCT Holly Jolly Card Event in July 2024.  This class was by Cathy Zielske. Colors Above:  Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana by Stampin' Up! Colors above:  Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio, Milled Lavendar Distress Oxide Ink.

 Scrapbook and Cards today hosts a few events a year.   This is the third event I've done (a four day event last fall, a one day event in February, and this one day Christmas event.). The events are so well run, and so much fun.  The teachers are incredible and the kits and product are awesome. These are the three cards from the first class with Meghann Andrews.  All stamps and dies were part of the kit; we used our own cardstock and ink.

As you might notice from my last five or six cards- I tend to gravitate towards similar color palettes when I sit down to stamp.  (Turquoise, Lime, Yellow!!) To help me get out of this pattern, I purchased the Color Cubes, over 300 beautiful color palettes designed for creating.   Here is my result! I just recieved my monthly kit from Simon Says Stamp.  I could not wait to play with the sweet buttercups die.  The houndstooth background was from my binder- which I fill with backgrounds that I love to make and choose not to use at the time.    Supplies Used: Best Plaid Builder Dies by Stampin' Up!  I just love the way all the Taylored Expressions gnome sets mix and match with each other.  Here are some fun patriotic cards using the Gnome of the Brave dies.  All supplies used are Taylored Expressions except the star embossing folder.  Colors: Cherry Pop and Blue Corn.
