Rubber Thunder

Today, Marines around the world pause to reflect on the illustrius history of the United States Marine Corps.  Founded November 10, 1775, we salute all who serve.   I joined the Marine Corps directly out of college.  I am still in touch with many of the ladies from our initial schooling (Called The Basic School) and we had a reunion in CA last year.  This year I mailed them each this card on the birthday.  The female Marine stamps are new from Magnussen Custom Stamps.  The 10th of November marks the 248th birthday of the United States Marine Corps!! I'm proud of my service in the Corps as a Communications Officer for seven years.  I've continued to serve the Corps as part of Marine Corps University for almost 14 years.  I made this card for a very dear co-worker- a sergeant major who is retiring after 30 years of dedicated service.  Semper Fi, my Friend!!!
