Rubber Thunder

 These cards were inspired by Meghann Andrew's bonus cards for the With Love, SCT Event. The With Love kit included a 1.5 x 3 inch die with three rows of hearts.  We used it to make shaker elements.  I used a Queen and Company foundations die to cut the leftovers into strips and layered over glitter paper.  Greetings from With Love Kit.  On Feb 8, 2025, I participated in Scrapbook and Cards Today's one day card event called With Love.  These first two cards are from Jennifer Maguire's class.  Inks and cardstock by Concord and 9th. The three cards below are from Dana Joy's class.  Inks and cardstock by Stampin' Up!

This first card has a new technique posted by Jennifer Maguire.  You use a stencil and alcohol to create a really neat background. Supplies: Inks and greeting by Simon Says Stamp (Cherry, Peony, Canteloupe) Heart Stencil by Gina K Designs (Let's Stamp Together Kit) Script background stamp by Taylored Expressions This was another new to me technique.  I had a stack of negative foils after foiling some acetate sheets.  I used spray adhesive to attach it to a white card front. So much easier than trying to "negative foil". I will take all of my saved negatives, and put them on cardstock. Lots of them can be used as "glitter paper" for little die cuts. Heart die by Pretty Pink Posh, Heart paper and sentiment by Queen and Co. Simple simple.  Distress Oxide ink blend (raspberry, berries, flamingo) with Simon Says Stamp embossing folder and heart die by Queen and co.

 I made this card as part of the monthly challenge in the Gina K and Friends facebook group. The monthly theme was "love".  I struggled a bit with the matching of the pieces, but a helpful reader suggested press and seal to keep pieces in place so I will try it again.
